A whole factory for Poush Manifesto in Aubervilliers

Article
Settled in an office tower in Clichy since March 2020, the artist incubator Poush Manifesto, will take over the former perfume factory L.T Piver in Aubervilliers in April of this year.

Selected based on a call for candidacy set up by Yvannoé Kruger, Manifesto's artistic director, 220 artists can now enjoy workshops and artistic and production guidance programmes, as well as help for administrative issues and communication. The artists, who are "on average 33 years old with an almost perfect gender proportion" are also encouraged to collaborate with each other as much as possible.

This new space, located at 153 avenue Jean Jaurès in Aubervilliers, is owned by the Société de la Tour Eiffel real estate trust company, and is made up of 12 buildings that total an area of 22.000 m². "This multidimensional space is the opportunity for artists to experiment with new collaborations, to dialogue with different fields such as dance, performance art and music, and to share the tools made available to them. It is also the opportunity to imagine an even more impactful programme, monumental works and an exhibition space open to artists from the French and international scenes", explains Yvannoé Kruger.

"Thanks to the commitment from the Société de la Tour Eiffel, Poush's continuation in Aubervilliers, in an immense industrial campus, allows us to redeploy our assistance to the artists and spark unprecedented meetups with local players from this booming Greater Paris neighborhood", comments Laure Confavreux-Colliex and Hervé Digne, Manifesto's co-founders.

Among the artists welcomed by Poush Manifesto are: Bianca Bondi, Anna-Maria Pangilinan, Maya-Ines Touam, Yoann Estevenin, Cyrielle Gulacsy and Victoria Kosheleva (you can find the full list here.)
