Mennour Emergence Unveils Its 2024 Winners

Article
The Mennour Institute, an initiative launched by the Galerie Mennour in 2023, is dedicated to advancing research and education in the field of twentieth- and twenty-first-century art. It is pleased to announce the success of its “Mennour Emergence” programme, inaugurated last year, with its first call for applications to recent graduates of the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2023.

After receiving 50 applications, representing almost half of the graduating students, the selection process was conducted by renowned professionals: Anna Labouze and Keimis Henni from Artagon, Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel from Lafayette Anticipations, Armelle Pradalier from Beaux-Arts de Paris, Christian Alandete, Jessy Mansuy and Sylvie Patry, and chaired by Kamel Mennour. The 2024 winners are Lucie Antoinette, Joséphine Berthou, Thibault Hiss, Nina Jayasuriya, Nicolas Kyrillou, and Sehyoung Lee.

In line with their commitment to supporting emerging artists in the early stages of their careers, each of the six winners will receive a budget of €2,500, along with full support at every stage of the exhibition process (curating, production, logistics, and communication).

The group exhibition featuring the works of the winners is scheduled to take place from the 22nd of February to the 30th of March 2024, at Mennour (5 rue du Pont de Lodi, Paris, France). The opening reception will be held on the 22nd of February 2024, starting at 6 pm.
