Jordan Casteel, the American figurative painter has announced her representation by the Massimo de Carlo gallery.

The 32 year old artist, born in Denver, Colorado, has been widely recognised for her intimate paintings, depicting her subjects in their natural, every day environment.

Casteel has experienced a soar in popularity and marketability in recent years, with one of her paintings being auctioned for close to $700,000 at Christie's last year. She has notably exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in 2020 and has enjoyed international recognition by being included in the Kunsthal KAdE museum in the Netherlands. It is the second gallery representing her, alongside the Casey Kaplan gallery in New York.

Massimo de Carlo is present throughout the world and has just opened a gallery, Pièce Unique, in the 3rd arrondissement in Paris.
