In the current socio-political climate, Chile postpones the Ch.ACO fair

Article
The fair, the 11th edition of which should have been taking place from November 21 to 24, has announced it has had to cancel these dates, postponing until next March.

The social rebellion hitting the country — the least egalitarian in the world — has led the president to unleash a series of reforms, which have not as yet eased the protests.

The organisers of the event, directed by Elodie Fulton, wrote on Facebook: "In the face of the current situation across our country, the art world wishes to make art the meeting point that we all need in Chile. Although the Ch.ACO fair could have been a highly enriching moment this year, we have made the decision, in collaboration with the galleries, to postpone the fair until March 2020. We hope to see you in March."

Amongst the first-class galleries to participate at the last edition were 80 m2 Livia Benavides, Isabel Aninat, and Revolver.
