#SouvenirsDeParis | The Pompidou Centre’s latest marketing campaign goes viral

Whilst 80% of visitors to the Eiffel Tower come from abroad, the figure is only 40% for the Pompidou Centre, whose collection “is just as good as the MoMA in New York or the Tate in London”, deplore the museum’s directors.


In order to resolve this and edge closer to the Top Five of the French capital’s most visited places – such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Sacré-Coeur and Notre-Dame, various miniature models of which can be found across the city – the museum tasked the agency Marcel with creating a humorous video which has now gone viral. Almost one million views in five days!
