1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair Makes Its Debut in Hong Kong: Discover the Featured Artists

Article
1-54, the Contemporary African art fair founded in 2013 by Touria El-Glaoui, is expanding its reach to Asia with a selling exhibition at Christie’s Hong Kong.

Following successful editions of the fair in New York, London, Marrakech, and Paris (hosted by Christie's in 2021 and 2022), 1-54 Presents is set to take place from 26 to 30 March 2024, coinciding with Art Basel Hong Kong. Given Hong Kong's significant role in the secondary market activity for African art, this venture offers the fair another opportunity to test the market.
