Salon d'Été Sets Up Residence in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne

Article
The first edition of the Salon d'Été takes place at the Louis Carré house, a magnificent creation by the Finnish modernist architect Alvar Aalto, located around forty kilometres away from Paris, in the Yvelines region.

On the 22nd and 23rd of July 2023, sixteen galleries, one publisher, and four project spaces will meet in the establishment designed for the collector and art dealer Louis Carré, who was also a co-founder of the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d'Art (CPGA).

Guillaume Sultana, the gallery owner, emphasises the importance of providing an alternative approach to fairs with "collaborative events that structure and bring together a generational community of French galleries", by bringing "energy to an ecosystem of galleries before the summer break".
