The bustling off-fair scene that once accompanied Art Basel may now appear less crowded. Amidst this backdrop and the highly acclaimed Basel Social Club, we decided to stop by the Design Miami/Basel, which opens its doors to VIP guests on Monday, prior to the main event. Despite the reduced number of exhibitors, 26 this year, the fair continues to evolve and offer a high-level selection.

The fair will be celebrating its highly anticipated first Parisian edition, alongside Paris + Art Basel, from the 17th to the 22nd of October. It will be hosted in a magnificent mansion located at 51 rue de l'Université, in the 7th arrondissement of the French capital, which is owned by Ali Bongo, notes Roxana Azimi in Le Monde.
