A surprise announcement that once again reveals the dynamism of the Parisian scene.

Where the Rue du Temple and the Rue Michel Le Comte meet in the French capital's third arrondissement, mega-gallery Continua — with spaces elsewhere in San Gimignano and Rome, Beijing, Havana, and Boissy-le-Châtel in the countryside east of Paris — will move in.

On January 20, the Italian trio Mario Cristiani, Lorenzo Fiaschi and Maurizio Rigillo will open not just a gallery, but a place of life, experimentation, culture, and even a grocery within the space.

In a space previously occupied by a leather goods wholesaler, a stone's throw from the Centre Pompidou, the public will be able to enjoy the gallery's impressive selection of artists over two floors, including Ai Weiwei, Kader Attia,Pascale Marthine Tayou, JR and Berline de Bruyckere.
