First opened in 2005, art brut specialist Galerie Christian Berst will be opening a second space in October, just opposite the first in the Passage des Gravilliers in Paris' 3rd arrondissement.

The new space, christened "The Bridge ", will be dedicated to the dialogue between contemporary art and art brut. This dialogue will be led by guest curators, including Jean-Hubert Martin, Gaël Charbau, Stéphane Corréard and Matali Crasset. For the occasion, a publication titled Ce que l'art brut me fait (What Art Brut Does to Me) will be released.

In the coming months, the gallery will hold exhibitions dedicated to Zdenek Kosek, anonymous photography (Le Fétichiste), and Carlos Augusto Giraldo, as well as participating in the FIAC and Paris Photo (provided they both go ahead as planned).

Le Fétichiste - Untitled, 2002, historical silver halide print, 15 x 10 cm.
