Lena Maria Thüring at the Swiss Cultural Centre
Born in Basel in 1981, the artist is presenting her film Hanjin Palermo, born of a 27-day cargo ship journey between New York and Bremerhaven. Bringing together images of crew far from their families, holding karaoke sessions, and views of the sea and ports, the artist shows us "the sides to the same reality".
Friday 6, Saturday 7, Sunday 8 September. Playing continuously from 13:00 to 19:00.

Barthélémy Toguo at the National Archives
Held in partnership with the Galerie Lelong — which is holding a parallel show of the artist — the exhibition presents the installation Terra Incognita in the rooms of the Hôtel de Soubise. The series of giant stamps sculpted in wood, at the centre of the artist's creation over the last few years, illustrates the weight of blind administration, resonating with their location. Opposite this installation, the National Archives are also hosting the piece Road to Exile, exploring the theme of exile and its proceedings.
The Bandjoun Station, the cultural centre created by the artist in Cameroon in 2008, is also associated with the project.
Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September, from 14:00 to 19:00.
