The thematic for this year’s edition of Manifesta is What People Do for Money, focusing on the fields of work in Zurich and their relation to art. “Your Memories Are Our Future” with its industrial setting, will see the transformed “into a bedroom where day and night, work and dreams trade with each other,” says curator Fronsacq. The title references French science fiction writer Alain Damasio and the space between the championing of the machine and reactionary pessimism.
