Tate announces IK prize shortlist 2015

The Tate has announced the shortlist for the annual IK Prize. The prize is open to “an individual, team or company for an innovative idea that uses the power of digital technology to connect broad audiences with art.”


The selected projects are as follows (IK Prize): Digital Re-sculpt by Artzoom, using 3D printing to recreate famous sculptures; MyTateMate by Five10Twelve, an app matching snapshots and artworks; Tate Sensation by Flying Object, developing multisensory interaction with art and Tate Here by Weiden + Kennedy, with audio experience installations inspired by artworks.

Winners will be announced February 17, whilst projects will be developed over the summer of this year.
