Today, a new feature available on Google Arts and Culture’s application — only available in selected countries — matches users’ selfies with art history’s most famous portraits, and people are loving it.
The application allows users to take selfies, and then uses computer-vision technology to associate the picture with famous portraits. The updated version of the Google Arts and Culture app, which included the new feature, claimed the No. 1 spot in the U.S. app store on Saturday.
