Alongside LouiSimone Guirandou, VOICE and Loft Art Gallery, 1:54 will also welcome fellow African galleries Art Twenty One (Lagos), Galerie Cécile Fakhoury (Abidjan) and L’Atelier 21 (Casablanca).

As per usual, the fair will also feature its program of talks, FORUM, which will be curated by Omar Berrada, director of the arts organization Dar al-Ma'mûn. Institutions such as the Museum of African Contemporary Art Al Maaden (MACAAL), The Yves Saint-Laurent Museum and the Montresso Foundation have also teamed up with the fair for a series of special projects. Last but not least, 1:54’s first Marrakesh edition will feature three solo shows dedicated to artists Dominique Zinkpè (Galerie Vallois), Ouattara Watts ((S)ITOR) and Sory Sanlé (Yossi Milo Gallery), whose works will be on show alongside those of 57 other emerging and established artists from the continent.
