Directed by Jérôme Pantalacci, the fair will bring together 33 exhibitors for its 2017 edition, among whom are some of Europe’s most exciting galleries — P420, (Bologna) Ellen de Bruijne Projects (Amsterdam) and Meessen De Clercq (Brussels) — as well as newcomers including BWA Warszawa (Warsaw) Ltd. (Los Angeles) and Cinnnamon (Rotterdam).
The 2017 Show Room, an initiative dedicated to supporting the work of four young graduates from one of the seven Fine Art Schools in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region, will feature works by François Bellabas, Alice Guittard, Eva Medin and Delphine Wibaux. The selection was made by curator Gaël Charbau.
French-Algerian artist Sabrina Belouaar, laureate of the 2016 Show Room, will be this year’s guest artist and will have a solo show at the fair, where she will present a work exploring “the theme of identity and its role in the relationship between different cultures.”
