Due to open in June 2015, Bombay-born artist Anish Kapoor is to hold an exhibition in the grounds of the Château de Versailles, in the Paris region, running until October 2015.
The 1991 Turner Prize winner is to follow in the footsteps of artists including Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and French artist Xavier Veilhan who have exhibited at the space since the series began in 2008.

Catherine Pégard, Chief Administrator at the Château de Versailles, told The International New York Times that Kapoor has been chosen “because he has something particular to say in this setting.” His work has been previously exhibited at the Grand Palais in Paris in 2011 featuring his sculpture installation Leviathan as part of the most-ever visited “Momenta” exhibition.
