BIBO restaurant rumored to open gallery in Hong Kong

Article
Since April 2014, French restaurant BIBO has been exhibiting numerous works by artists.
The origins of this project come from an anonymous collector with a desire to create a new concept restaurant based on the idea of “dine at a collector’s place”, as described by Vivien Roussie, manager of the collection. However the collector’s ambition does not stop there, he has now revealed that he wishes to open his own art gallery in Hong Kong. Artists have created works specially for the restaurant, a few of them going on to request representation by the collector. The idea has already taken off with two artists signing exclusivity contracts. In the meanwhile, prior to the gallery’s opening, the restaurant is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the works of Aya Takano until February 18 2015.
