The shortlist is as follows: Avanti Architects, John McAslan + Partners, LDN Architects, Page\Park Architects and Purcell. The building was originally designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh over 100 years ago and is widely regarded to be Mackintosh’s master work, yet much of the building was damaged in an accidental fire which broke out on May 24, 2014.
Propositions are to be submitted in March with the winning designs being selected at the end of the month.
