All Cézanne's work online

Article
The catalog raisonné of Paul Cézanne (1839-1906) works is now accessible online.

In 1904 a first draft of the catalog was created by Ambroise Vollard, the artist's dealer. Later, Georges River, Paul Rosenberg, Lionello Venturi and John Rewald became involved with the project. This latest work is now the most comprehensive corpus to have been released, realised by three of Cezanne’s experts: Walter Feilchenfeldt, Jayne Warman and David Nash. It is undeniable that the scientific and meticulous work of a catalog is a lifetime’s work. Any piece not yet included in the catalog will be added once authenticated by the authors.

Access to the catalog is completely free to anyone who wishes to consult the works of the painter, classified according to a search engine that sets the drive itself: year of production, size of the work, collection , themes, keywords ... Cross referencing with the work of John Rewald and Lionello Venturi is also possible, as is access to Vollard archives (book of accounts, correspondence, diaries ...). The quality of this work will allow researchers, art historians, as well as dealers to base their work on solid scientific references.
The next step announced is to include the artist’s works on paper.
