Terra Foundation announces new European director

The Terra Foundation in Chicago has announced the arrival of a new director for its European headquarters, as well as announcing a new address in Paris.

The Terra Foundation for American Art  announced the appointment of John Davis to serve as the center’s director and executive director of global academic programs beginning in September. John Davis is an art historian specializing in American art and has taught at Smith for more than 20 years. “John Davis’s leadership and international credentials in the Americanist field, teaching expertise, and long-term engagement with the foundation make him uniquely suited to help extend our mission in Europe and beyond,” stated Terra Foundation Vice President Amy Zinck. The Terra Foundation is dedicated to defending and promoting American art of all forms across the world. Established in Chicago, the headquarters in Europe are located in Paris and the new location of its expanded Paris Center & Library is situated at 121 rue de Lille, sharing a collaborative exhibition space with the Fondation Custodia.
