On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, MoMA PS1 has announced that it will extend free admission to all New York residents until October 2017. The institution, which has also appointed seven new board members — Maria Arena Bell, Adrian Cheng, George Farias, Svetlana Kuzmicheva-Uspenskaya, Lisa Roumell, Robert Soros, and John L. Following MoMA’s announcement, earlier this year, that the museum has been forced to offer voluntary buyouts to senior staff, three of the institution’s high-level employees have announced their resignation. Chief digital officer Sree Sreenivasan, senior vice-president for marketing and relations Cynthia Round and head of design Susan Sellers have all stepped down, The New York Times reports.
South Korean artist Yunchul Kim is this year’s winner of the COLLIDE International Award, the prize awarded by CERN and an international partner — this year, Liverpool-based Foundation for Art and Creative Technology.
