21 July | Art Berlin Contemporary announces 2016 exhibitor list

Art Berlin Contemporary (ABC) has announced its list of participating galleries for its ninth edition.


The fair, created by Berlin-based galleries to exhibit works by contemporary international artists in the German capital, will welcome more than 60 local and European galleries, including Sprüth Magers, Wentrup Gallery, Klemm’s, Profile Gallery and BQ. The fair, running September 15 through 18,  will focus on solo presentations. Blouinart Info has more information.

Art Gallery of New South Wales deputy director Suhanya Raffel has been named director of Hong Kong’s M+ Museum, replacing Lars Nittve, who left the post in January 2016. In three years at New South Wales Art Gallery, Raffel has played a crucial role in the improvement and the enrichment of the Australian exhibition space’s collection. Art Forum has more.

As for Paris, it has been announced that the Outsider Art Fair — this year in its 24th edition — will take place between October 20 and 23 at the Hôtel du Duc, in the city’s 9th arrondissement. Thirty-eight international galleries will participate to this year’s edition, including fifteen new participants. A full list of exhibitors is available via Art Forum.
