Moscow’s Garage Museum has announced details of its off-site programming, which will be housed in St Petersburg’s “Pavilion”, a park and temporary exhibition space on New Holland Island, the new hip area of the city, slowly turning in a contemporary arts hub after having been bought by Roman Abramovich, husband to Garage founder Dasha Zhukova.

“Experiences of the Imaginary,” the first offshoot exhibition of the Garage Museum to take place in St. Petersburg, will feature work by nine emerging Russian artists — Nikolai Alexeyev, Aslan Gaisumov, Yevgeny Granilshchikov, Ilya Dolgov, Anastasia Kuzmina, Kirill Makarov, Ivan Novikov, Alexandra Sukhareva, and Anna Titova — and will run from August 27 through September 25.
