A Mumbai court has rejected Chintan Upadhyay’s bail petition. The Indian artist has been in judicial custody since his estranged wife and her lawyer were found dead in December. A post-mortem has revealed that Hema Upadhyay’s cause of death was asphyxia.

The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is to begin a $25 million expansion project designed by architect Kulapat Yantrasast. The project will once completed add 9,000ft2 of exhibition space to the museum. More via ArtForum.
