Swiss founding director of Paris’ Chalet Society, Marc-Olivier Wahler, has been named as the new director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Museum at Michigan State University.

He succeeds Michael Rush who passed away last year. Read Wahler’s statement on Art News. 



Pace Art + Technology are now representing Studio Drift, an Amsterdam-based collective, artists Ralph Nauta and Lonneke Gordijn. Their work was recently exhibited at the New York Armory Show. More on the artists via Pace. 


Belgian African art historian Bruno Claessens has joined Christie’s as European Head of the African and Oceanic Art department. He will be based between Paris and Brussels and is currently preparing a sale for June. He blogs about his appointment here. 


Electric Objects have announced a new $100,000 arts fund, the Art Club Fund in order to commission new works of digital art. Today the company opens the third round of their Art Club Open Call, in order to select 30 artist to be featured. More info via Art News.
