The first edition of the Lahore Biennial in Pakistan has named Rashid Rana as artistic director. The event has been described by organizers as “the largest contemporary art event” in the country’s history.

Street art, omnipresent in Berlin, is to be honored with a specialized museum in 2017. The Museum of Urban Contemporary Art is to receive €900,000 in financing from the Berlin Lotto Foundation, however, the space has not yet been revealed. More information on artnet News.
