Mitchell-Innes & Nash gallery in New York now represents Los-Angeles based artist Mary Kelly. Kelly’s work will be on display at the Tate Britain this year as part of the exhibition “Conceptual Art in Britain 1964-1979”, her first solo show at Mitchell-Innes & Nash in late 2017.

New York gallerists Anton Kern and Andrew Kreps have joined forces to open a pop-up gallery in San Francisco. The space will open on April 28 on 1275 Minnesota Street to coincide with the reopening of the SF MoMA on May 14. The 100,000-square-foot-space will feature a diverse group show of 2016’s hottest contemporary artists and will be open through May 21. More details via artnet News. 


The Art Basel brand, whose art fair is reportedly responsible for an annual economic impact of $500 million in Miami, announced during Art Basel Hong Kong a new business initiative: Art Basel Cities. A cultural consultancy service, Art Basel Cities is designed to raise a city’s profile in the art world. The project will be led by Patrick Foret, appointed internally, previously head of sponsorship for Art Basel. More via the Miami Herald.
