The Untitled Art Fair is to launch in California, the Miami fair will hold its first San Francisco edition from January 12 through 15 2017 at Pier 70.

The West-Coast edition is supposedly due to be smaller and more intimate than the Florida version of the fair. More details via artnet.


The Frick Collection have announced expansion and renovation plans following a rejected project in 2014. The previous project envisaged removing the institution’s garden, greatly appreciated by the public. The new plans will be revealed in 2017. More on The Art Newspaper.


More updates from the Rybolovlev—Bouvier case. The Singapore International Commercial Court is to play its role in the legal dispute between the Russian millionaire and the Swiss businessman. The latter, resident of Singapore, had attempted to suspend the civil suit brought against him in the Asian city state, preferring to have the trail take place in Switzerland. The Huntington Library, Art collections and Botanical Gardens of Saint Martin, California is to begin major extension works. Estimated at $10.3 million, the works will include a new wing occupying 1,500m2. The project is sponsored by philanthropists Karin and Jonathan Fielding. The new space, bearing their name, will open next October with an exhibition of lead donors’ 18th and early 19th-century art collection. More details on The Art Newspaper.
