Galeria Nara Roesler, based in both New York and Rio de Janeiro, is now representing Argentinean artist Eduardo Navarro. Over his 14 year long career, Navarro has worked across a number of different media, including collage, drawing, installation and performance. Days after the publication of a report revealing an increasingly strong interest in digital discovery and acquisition of art in the US, Invaluable struck a partnership with auction house Phillips. New York’s 303 gallery will move to its new 12,000 square-foot space at 555 West 21st Street next week. The gallery’s opening show — opening May 7 — will feature works by artist Alicja Kwade and will be followed by an exhibition by Hans-Peter Feldmann in September. Art News has more information.
Following the cancellation of this year’s edition of Art International earlier this week, Moving Image 2016 — Istanbul’s video, film, and digital art fair, set to run alongside Art International — has also been called off. Both fairs will return next year according to the organizers.
