April 28 | Wim Delvoye to open gallery in Kashan Iran

Belgian artist Wim Delvoye has revealed his plan to open a 9,680 square-foot gallery in Kashan, Iran, three hours south of Tehran.

Galeria Nara Roesler, based in both New York and Rio de Janeiro, is now representing Argentinean artist Eduardo Navarro. Over his 14 year long career, Navarro has worked across a number of different media, including collage, drawing, installation and performance. His works was shown at the 2015 New Museum Triennial and at the São Paulo Biennial among others. More on Art News.


Days after the publication of a report revealing an increasingly strong interest in digital discovery and acquisition of art in the US, Invaluable struck a partnership with auction house Phillips. New York’s 303 gallery will move to its new 12,000 square-foot space at 555 West 21st Street next week. The gallery’s opening show — opening May 7 — will feature works by artist Alicja Kwade and will be followed by an exhibition by Hans-Peter Feldmann in September. Art News has more information.


Following the cancellation of this year’s edition of Art International earlier this week, Moving Image 2016 — Istanbul’s video, film, and digital art fair, set to run alongside Art International — has also been called off. Both fairs will return next year according to the organizers.
