The decision to cut the Brazilian ministry of culture following the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff has been reversed. The initial decision was made when an interim government declared a desire to cut government ministries from 23 to 10.

Following a recent merger with rival start up Auctionata, online auction platform Paddle8 has announced a series of layoffs, whilst several senior members of staff have stepped down from their posts. Editorial director Sarah Hanson is among those to have been dismissed, stirring up rumours that the platform’s editorial department is to be cut amid fierce competition. The Stedelijk Museum and Ammodo are looking to relocate within Amsterdam. The Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam was started 23 years ago to provide a platform for emerging artists and curators to interact. The project will leave its current space on July 1. More details via ArtForum
